Three hand written pages of notes in black ink on three separate pieces of paper. The notes are in chronological order starting with 1836 with the laying the military road from Portage to Ft. Howard and Ft. Winnebago. Second page begins with the establishment of the post office in 1940. Page three starts with the continuation of 1848 from page two and then 1865 "They furnished 70 men".Collection
