Single sheet of paper with writing on the front only. There is a stamp in the top left corner "A.W. Ballard, Omro, Wis.". The letter is addressed "May 18. 16, My dear Comrade Dick: I am wondering how you are getting along, nicely I hope. Saw Comrade Bacon yesterday. He is gaining slowly but I think surely. His wound is now healed. He hopes it is for good and all. Went to Winneconne a day or two ago. Got some of the people interested about the reunion. I think the date will be Aug 31 and Sept 1, but am not sure. Let me hear from you. I send you my kind regards and earnest wishes for your speedy return to complete health. Very truly yours, AW Ballard."Collection
