Single page letter folded in half with correspondence on page one and two, three and four are blank. The letter is addressed to "US Hospital, Philadelphia, June 2nd" and signed "So good day from John Simons to E M Dick".
BC2010.022.450B There is a small manila envelope with the letter that has someone else's writing on the outside the reads "No 57, Place US Hospital, Philadelphia Penn, Broad St., Date June 2, 1864? (corrected to 1862), From John Simons to EM Dick, Wounded in battle at Williamsburg, lost 3 killed 5 wounded in Co." The envelope is most likely O.E. Heller's notes.Collection
