Grignon Esq., Dear Sir" and talks about sending someone to Stockbridge with Grignon along with expenses in silver and dollars. The trip is meant to pay the Stockbridge their annuities. It is signed "Very truly yours, A.G. Ellis, Sub. Agent" and at the bottom it reads "(Along side of letter) There are 219 shares with roll. If you pay $1 to a share there will be a fraction of 21 dollars left. Of this you may pay $10 to old Mr. Metron and the balance to A.E. and I.W. Quincy" and the 'c' is crossed out in Quincy.Collection
