Two page, typed correspondence on New London County Historical Society letterhead, addressed "August 11, 1934, Dr. Coe Hayne, Room 1000, 23 East 26th St., New York, N.Y., My dear Dr. Hayne". The letter congratulates the pilgrimage at Brothertown by the Baptist church and talks about photocopying the pages from the Brothertowns book. A copy of this letter was sent to the State Historical Society of Wisconsin because it mentions them doing the photostating (copying the manuscript). It is signed "Very cordially yours, (signed) Ernest E. Rogers". This is a copy of the original letter and has COPY in red ink across both pages.
There is evidence of a paper clip in the top left corner and rust on the second page from it.Collection
