Single page, typed correspondence addressed "Brothertown, CAlumet Co. Wis, Sunday Aug. 5th. 1934, To Our New England Tribes-men. Dear Friends..." It acknowledges a previous letter and the regret that the New England tribes could not be there (Brothertown, WI) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Baptist Church in WI. It ends with grateful thoughts of a renewed friendship between Brothertown,. Narragansett, Mohegan, Pequot, Montauk, and Niantic tribes and is signed by 17 members of the Brothertown Indians. These are not original signatures, I think this is a copy of the original letter with a handwritten list of who signed the original.
