Single sheet of paper, folded in half to create four pages of correspondence. The paper is a green hue with blue lines and the ink is black. In the top margin on the first page is "At it again" circled and it is addressed "Camp Griffin, Lewins Vill, Via. February 7th, 1862. Friend, E.Dick Esq." Civil War letter talking about how the regiment is on "this side of the Potomac and we are all well." It also talks about hoping to find the other soldiers and giving them hell. It is signed "From John Simons" with a swirl underneath.Collection
