Four page correspondence with a large drawing of two boats on a river at the top of the first page, titled "Gun Boat Benton. Built at St. Louis 1861". The letter is addressed "Camp Benton St. Louis Mo. Sunday April 13th /62. Mrs Abba L. Fowler" and signed "from Orland Dick". It talks about the gains the soldiers are making so they don't think they'll need to send more soldiers, but it is all uncertain. The paper is blue in hue.Collection
