Scope and Content

Single page correspondence on a full size sheet of paper. The paper has "(copy)" written in the top left corner and is addressed "Brothertown Wis. Nov 29/07, Mrs. Alice Vick, Plymouth Wis, Dear Madam". The letter is a notice to vacate by the Union Lodge in Brothertown because the person who rented the basement of the building left and a Millard has been staying there. The reasons given include excessive drinking, keeping company with a woman, and not keeping a tidy house. It appears Millard is the receiver's brother. It is signed "Respectfully yours, EM Dick, L Fowler, Hiram Johnson, Trustees of Union Lodge #359".
