Parents: Rebecca (Schuyler) Ninham and Nelson Ninham
Paternal Grandparent: Abraham Ninham

Her mother went to school in Tomah Wisconsin and she liked to play piano. They had no running water of electricity. All they had was Kerosene lamps and wood stoves. Her mother worked sometimes cleaning homes and her father was a mason in construction. Both of her parents spoke the Oneida language but they never spoke it to the kids. She belonged to the Holy Apostle’s Church. Their typical Sunday was everyone going to church coming home and having a real big dinner with the family. Her father played the fiddle, her mother played the piano, and one of the brothers played the guitar. Christmas for her was nice and they always had a tree. Her favorite dish her mother made was corn soup. Fourth of July was a special holiday for them. Her father would take them all to a baseball game. Annabeth played on a girls baseball team. She went to school at the Oneida Mission until 7th grade. In 8th grade she went to school at High View then from there she went to school in Green Bay for a little while. She stayed home and helped her mother with house work. She learned how to play guitar. Her mother use to go to the Heart Start Schools and read to the children. She’s did that for many years before she passed away. Annabeth uses the health center a lot and thinks the tribe should help the elderly more than they do.Recording Type
