Description

Borcherdt, Arthur "Bill" William Born 05/16/1942 Parents: Lena Grace Metoxen and Arthur Otto Borcherdt He went to school in Kaukauna, Milwaukee, and Steven’s Point. He grew up in Kaukauna. His mother spoke the Oneida language and his father worked on the railroad. He got married in August of 1967 to Sharon. He has Parkinson’s disease. He wrote a few books and was funded through the tribe to go through school. He thinks the tribe should keep the percapita money for education for the children due to it being such a small amount anyway. He also feels there isn’t enough of the percap for all the Oneidas to go around. His mother never used any natural herbs or medications.
