He doesn’t remember much of his grandparents on his mother’s side. He remembers living with his grandpa Richard for a while. His grandma Electa was a stay at home person. His father took over John Bull’s farm when he passed away. He worked on the farm and also worked on the boats. In 1945 his father had an accident on the boats. He passed away shortly after he got hurt. His uncle Julius took over the farm because Frank’s mother couldn’t handle it. Frank ended up in a boarding school in Nills-Ville. His mother worked inside of home and both of his parents could speak the Oneida language. His family belonged to the Holy Apostle’s Church. He has 5 brothers and 1 sister. In the winter months they had food and canned goods stored down in a cellar. His family use to do a lot of hunting and fishing when his father was alive. Everyone at home had jobs to do and no one was treated special either. He went to school at Trout Creek School. Kids there use to pick on him because of his speech. He would come home all beat up. His mom then sent him to a different school. He went to the Army and did a tour of Duty in Korea. He came back to the states in 1954 and was in the Army for 5 years. He worked in Green Bay for a while when he got out of the Army. He also worked in Milwaukee too. He married Patricia King. He met her at a cherry orchard while picking cherries. He worked for the Oneida tribe for a while then one of his eyes went bad on him. So, he had to give up his chauffeur license. He is now retired with no children or grandchildren it is just him and his wife.Recording Type
