Antone (Skenandore), Lorraine Born 3/16/1929 Mother name is Lillian Skenandore Father name is Zachariah Skenandore She was born at home in Oneida. Her mother sewed all of the clothing for the family. She sold quilts and crochet work for extra money, during school at home. Her mother went to school in Flandreau and graduated from there. The family had a vegetable garden to feed themselves. They raised a lot of animals too. Father went to Carlisle Indian School to the fourth grade. Her father worked in Mills until bad health then he worked at home in the garden. They moved to Milwaukee, Fond du Lac and Illinois. She worked in a General Office and graduated from Beauty School. She got married in 1952 and has two daughters.Recording Type
