His dad worked all over the northern parts of Wisconsin, he was a logger. His mother didn’t go to school every much she had maybe a 5th grade education. His parents lived on the Stockbridge Reservation. They didn’t have running water or electricity. He and his brothers worked with their dad in the summertime and the weekends. His mother made corn soup and fry bread. His chores around the house were to feed and milk the cows and haul in water. On Christmas all his aunties and uncles would come up from Milwaukee, they always had a big dinner. He went to the 1st grade when they lived in Morgan, Wis. Then they moved to the Stockbridge Reservation he then went to the Indian School for 1 year because they close that school down. Then he went to Bowler School.
