Description

Webster, Rita (Schuyler) Born 02/03/1938 in Menasha, WI Parents: James Lawrence Schuyler and Harriet "Hattie" Lavina (Moore) Father was average size, had to been very stern with his family. Mother was a tall woman, very stern also. Mother went to school until 8th grade. Father went to a Government School, but I don’t know where. Father spoke the language, but mother didn’t. Parent never taught their children the language. Sang the Oneida songs for Rebecca Ninham, before she passed away. Rebecca had requested for the Schuyler girls to sing for, when she passed away, instead of waiting until she past, they thought she’d enjoy the music while still alive. In the summer time they planted, weeded it water and harvested the food. She went to school in Seymour. She went to Grade School & High School in Seymour. Finish School and then got married. Only went to 11 grade meet my husband. She married Art Webster. Her husband worked 42 years at U.S. Paper Company in De Pere. Husband retired one year ago. They have 11 children and 27 Grandchildren. She went back to work. Met a woman through a Ad in the paper. Has worked for this Woman for 27 years, until the women passed away. Like to paint, sew & other crafts.
