They had 1 child, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She went to School at Chicago Corners and at the Catholic School in Oneida. When she was 11 years old, she was put in a home, because her mother died. She did not have a very happy childhood growing up. She was giving to a mean woman. She graduated from Good Sheppard School. Then she went to Milwaukee and worked for her Aunt Pat. She met her husband and they moved up north to Cumberland, WI. Her husband was a plumber. She moved back to Oneida after her husband died. When she was young, she remembers getting a doll, a handful of candy, orange and apple for Christmas. She does not remember too much about Easter. She went Hoyoning on New Year Day. If she got sick, she had to take some kind of home remedy medicine. Her mother used to corn soup. On 4th of July, they had a picnic. She worked at a Supper Club as a waiter. Then she worked at a Casino in Turtle Lake in the buffet. She has 3 sisters. Her advice to the youth is to get as much education as you can.
