Legal sized sheet of paper with correspondence mainly on the front page. The letter is addressed " Ind. Captl. Oct. 14th A.D. 1864, Dear Friend E.M. D. Esqr:" It is signed "I describe myself as ever & ever yours truely [sic] G. A. Durochie Esqr." It talks about how A. Lincoln will be elected soon and just asks for a reply before writing more.
