One sheet of paper with a drawing on one side of a woman leaning against a wall near a fireplace and a man walking towards her. In the top left corner is a small image of a log cabin. The other side has short story called "The Star of Hope". It reads "Two thousand years ago a bright star in the East led a little group of men over the hills to a humble stable where an infant lay. This celestial body was the symbol of hope, and ever since that time men have raised their eyes to the heavens in search of their star of hope. Each Christmas the stars seem to shine brighter and the expectation of happiness seems to be renewed again in men's hearts. So let us try to kindle such a spark in each other's hearts, not only at Christmas time, but throughout the year. May the twenty-six coming issues of Ranch Romances be as twenty-six bright stars to give us the hope and courage we need to carry on during 1935. And so we say with all our heart, 'Merry Christmas, Folks!' --The Editor." There are bells decorating the border.Collection
