Single sheet of paper with correspondence on both sides. The letter is addressed "Franklin March 11th 1865, Dear Friend" and is signed "best respects to all inquiring friends, so good night, from Henry Fowler. Please write soon." The last line is written further down the back side of the paper and has a flourish around the 'P'. It talks about all the letters he's gotten in the last day, laments about the new enlisted soldiers, and finishes by saying he must write more letters tonight so he can't write much.Collection
