Scope and Content

Single sheet of paper folded in half to create four pages of correspondence written in red/pink ink. The letter has a stamp in the top left corner of the first page that is oval with a square in the middle and a crown on top of the square. The letter is addressed "Spring field Mo, Saturday Morn. June 21st 1862, Miss A. L. Fowler". It is signed "Loren M.J. to Mifs Abba L. Fowler" on the bottom of the third page and the fourth page has "Please address as follows..." taking up the entire page.
