Typed correspondence on a single sheet of paper. Letter is one page only and appears to be a copy of an original. It is addressed "Charles A. Grignon Esq., Oshkosh, Feb. 23, 1837, Dear Sir". It talks about a treaty made by Merrill in Oct. 1848 being too small compared to those treaties with other tribes and requests an increased allowance for Col. Thompson so that they can pay the balance of their debts without getting into their annuities. It is signed "Very respectfully yours, Oct. Servt., W.G. Ewing".
