Colorized black and white photo of a logging operation. Seven large piles of logs with numerous men standing on and by each pile. The trees have been tinted green in the background and the sky has been tinted blue. Typed in red ink on the bottom is "No. 5006" Written on the back addressed to "Miss Effa Stage, Fond du Lac, Wis. c/o Dr. Wiley" is a long message from J.E.H. (see photo). One cent Franklin stamp and a Chilton, Wis, Oct. 11 1909 8PM stamp.
