Notepad sized lined sheet of paper with writing in black ink that reads "Received ten dollars and fifty-six cents of Lowell H Waffle to apply on a certain Bond bearing date the fifteenth day of March AD 1869. Executed by Lowell H Waffle to John Waffle Sn in part payment of my share due upon said Bond the same is endorsed this day. August thirty first 1870 (August 31, 1870). Received of Lowell H Waffle ten dollars and fifty-six cents to apply on my yearly payments of thirty five dollars a year." The receipt is signed by Roxsalana Waffle. In the bottom left corner are three numbers in a calculation. The top left corner has a stamp of a bust of a person.Collection
