Carriso Gorge excursion waiting to depart San Diego Union Depot. Steam locomotive #2354 at the head and #102 as helper. Steam locomotive #102. Builder Alco Schenectady, serial number 54665, built December 1914, class C-31, wheels 2-8-0, weight 224500 lbs., weight on drivers 197900 lbs., boiler preasure 210 lbs., drivers 57", Cylinder bore and stroke 22" x 30", Tractive effort 45470 lbs. Leased to Southern Pacific and renumbered 2838 in 1918. Returned to SD&A and renumbered 102 in 1919. Scrapped August 14, 1953.
