12-5-32 "Contractor's 3/4 yard shovel was working in east end of center cut on an incline of approximately 15%. Drive shaft broke and operator lost control of shovel, allowing it to run down incline and tip over into canyon. Photograph shows remains at repose in the bottom. Shovel was later dismantled and parts recovered, as some did not appear to be damaged beyond repair."
