Gordon 'Pedago' was a Mess Sargeant at Camp Hulen. Arrived from Kentucky (106th AA Btn) in January 1941. Was due to be there for one year. The war changed that--he didn't leave until April 1942. Went to Ireland, then to North Africa, Sicily, Salerno, etc., on eventually to Germany.Collection
