Original picture was taken in 1892 of Miss Emily Burrows, teacher of the school, and her pupils at Tres Palacios, Texas. Miss Emily was born on April 10, 1871. She married Jesse Hornsby, of Austin, on November 29, 1893 and died in February 1953. Her daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Mims, of Fort Worth, Texas, copyrighted this picture in June 1955.Collection
