Silver "sewing holder" in five pieces that screw together. A thimble on top screws off to reveal a bobbin with two reels. The bobbin unscrews revealing a 3 mm. hole in the top of the next segment which could accommodate a 2 cm. die. ball of twine an end of which could be dispensed through the hole in the top that segment. Finally, a long, narrow section with food at bottom could contain several needles. Floral design etching covers thimble. Base has crosses alternating with plain panels. At bottom M.P. etched.
