Delicate, silver filigree card case in two piece that slip together. A framework of silver wire 1 mm thick provides structure at edges and around decorated panel on either face of case. A very fine twisted wire is then applied in a pattern and soldered to create a lacy web of silver filaments suggesting fish scales on edges, chrysanthemums on a main body and an even, more closely knit lattice on the central panels, front and back. These panels are decorated with applied filagreed flowers and tendrils on one side and Asian-style dragons on the other. For calling cards.
