Statue - Tower of PisaDescription
Hand-carved miniature of leaning tower of Pisa. Carved in five different pieces; base, inside cylinder, outside cylinder, cap, and tower, cemented together with chalky white material. The outside cylinder is only 2 or 3 mm. thick with the pierced design of the arched windows revealing the inner cylinder that is scratch carved to suggest floors and railings. Base has canted center to give tower proper angle.
