Black enamel painted, bevel-edged frame with ring and hinged self-stand on back. Bevel-edged wooden frame has mitered corners, nailed together. The reverse is covered with a glued on a piece of black textured paper. A piece of wood painted black is hinged to the back and can be pulled out to support frame standing or laid flat if picture is hanging from brass ring which is attached above stand. A gilt sticker reads "Jackson Jewelers Inc Oakland, Calif." stamped England.
