Notes

This photograph depicts Henningham Henry Lyons (1885–1900), daughter of Elizabeth Watkins Henry Lyons (1855–1920), granddaughter of William Wirt Henry (1831–1900), great-granddaughter of John Henry (1796–1868), and great-great-granddaughter of Patrick Henry. Henningham was born on September 3, 1885, and died of typhoid fever on October 23, 1900, in Richmond, Virginia. She is shown at Red Hill between two rows of boxwoods north of the Henry House. The hunting hounds pictured were owned by James Marshall Lyons (1857–1913), her father. Although the exact date of the photo is unknown, Henningham's death in 1900 places it sometime before then.
