This postcard was produced by the Charlotte Gazette Print for the Patrick Henry Memorial Foundation, likely from the late-1940s to the 1960s. The postcard was purchased by the Patrick Henry Memorial Foundation along with other research files from author Robert Douthat Meade (1903–1974) while writing his two-volume biography of Patrick Henry in 1946. This photo was removed from these files for its individual interest and accessioned separately in 2021.
