Notes

This image shows the Henry family cemetery in the foreground, overgrown with bushes and boxwoods. Patrick and Dorothea Henry's graves are seen behind bushes at right, with John (1796–1868) and Elvira McClelland Henry's (1808–1875) graves seen centered behind the brick gate. In the background is the expanded Law Office, sitting closer to the cemetery than now. The square building with the small chimney was originally William Wirt Henry's (1831–1900) law office which had later been connected with Patrick Henry's former office. These pictures were formerly accessioned with Guthrie's papers under the number 76.72. In 2022, they were removed from those files and renumbered.
