Description

A document cut to a smaller size. A square has been cut out in the center of the document for a second piece of paper with Patrick Henry's signature to be adhered to the reverse. Two paper tabs are adhered to the larger document with adhesive. The larger document was formerly a land grant to John Hawrie, dated April 1, 1785. The date of the added Henry signature is unknown.
