Photograph taken from the USS Yorktown (CV-10) during the April 29, 1944 engagement at Truk. A Japanese Nakajima B6N "Jill" flies across the bow of the USS Yorktown under heavy fire but does not drop its payload. It is unknown whether this was by the Japanese pilot's design or error, but the Jill is shot down shortly after. This event is seen happening in real-time in the film "The Fighting Lady."
