A Santiago blue Women Airforce Service Pilot dress uniform belted jacket. The jacket still has the propeller pin attached to the collar, though the Army Air Forces patch is no longer present.

Worn as a part of the WASP uniform to distinguish members.

Context

Uniform was worn by Muriel 'Mimi' Keir who served as a WASP after graduating from class 44-W-8. The class ran from March 14, 1944 to October 18, 1944 at Avenger Field in Sweetwater, Texas. Out of a class of 114 trainees, Keir was one of 49 graduates.
