B/W photo of members of the 1972 U.S. Men's Olympic Track team at the home of Doug and Nan Morrell, Mere Point, Brunswick, ME. The team was at Bowdoin College training prior to going to the Munich Olympics. The man on the far right may be Reynaud Syverne "Rey" Robinson, one of three American 100 meter sprinters; next to him is Steve Prefontaine of the University of Oregon and American record holder 3k up to 10k. Prefontaine, who died in an automobile accident in 1975, held records in seven different distance track events. 7/1972.
