The photo is of the Noah Melcher Inn/Tavern (also known as the Old Frost Home and Half-Way Tavern) at its current location in Halifax, Massachusetts. The home was moved from Pleasant Hill Road, Brunswick (possibly referred to as the Old Portland Road in early documents) in 1940.
Miss Alla A. Libbey purchased the home in Brunswick and had it dismantled board by board and shipped via rail to Halifax, MA. The house is currently located at 204 Plymouth Rd, Halifax, MA.Collection
