An undated black and white photo of a 40 and 8 wagon, a rail car used during World War I, it could hold 40 men or 8 horses. After the war, a group of veterans formed The Forty and Eight (La Societe des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux) that was part of the American Legion. The label at bottom read reads, "Fred J. LeTarte, Brunswick, Maine."
