G.N. Crane Float, 150th Anniversary of BrunswickEntry/Object ID
1973.6.14Description
A sepia toned photo of a float for G.N. Crane in the 150th Anniversary parade in Brunswick. The float passes by a large crowd on an unidentified street. The sign on the side of the wagon appears to read: "To Ease Your Pain / Your Spring Beds / of G.N. Crane." Three people are riding on the float. There is a long brick building behind the float, same as the one picture in 1973.6.15, 1973.6.175 & 1973.6.20. The booklet describing the 150th Anniversary activities refers to this float as "G.W. Crane," but the sign clearly says "G.N. Crane." See also 1973.6.19. Dated 06/13/1889.Collection
