An undated black and white photograph of the David Given house, Middle Bay. Written on back of photo:
"Built about 1825. David Given House.
An old cellar on opposite side of road. Had two sons Ezra and Thomas Givens Ezra lived at home with old folks then grew discontented and left. Thomas Given lived out Oak Hill way. Old folks asked him to come home but his wife would not unless he had her own home, so they built one for her. George Prince now owns the old Given home".
It is all that remains of the home of David Given, first who bought 300 acres in Middle Bay in 1727.Lexicon
