A B/W photograph of a dining tent in a field hospital, 2nd Division 3 rd Army Corps at Chicamagua National Park Georgia Aug 1898.
Man at the far right (#7) is 1st Lieut. Gilbert W. Elliott, Asst Surgeon 1st Me Vol Infantry.
He became the Pennell Family Dr. and delivered Alice Pennell in 1901.
Based on what is in the photo, it is doubtful that this is a field hospital. It is more likely a dining scene (K Twine 2010).
