A black and white photograph of an oil painting on canvas titled, "Who's in Charge" by Nina Jerome. Jerome is a longtime resident of Maine finding inspiration in natural and constructed environments. After graduating from Mount Holyoke College and the Rhode Island School of Design, Jerome taught drawing and painting at the University of Maine for 27 years, while continuing her own craft.
"Who's in Charge" is a flattened plane oil painting of a bedroom scene with household items added. An unmade bed with an opened bag sit in the middle of the scene with two toothbrushes above leading into a bowl and box of CapN Crunch. A painted shoe and brush are also present in the painting.
