Photo of house now on the site of the Geo. T. Files house, later A.R.U. fraternity. The sisters, Miss Tryphina Hinkley and Miss Josephine Hinkley, ran a girls' school here. Some of the teachers were professors at Bowdoin College. On bottom of photo it is written "Abbottsford Cottage Class of '66", and "Brunswick, ME, July 27, 1866."Lexicon
