A B/W photograph of the Skolfield/Whittier House. The photo was taken from the Mall.
The original accession paper work note for this item indicates "house under construction, 1857." However, the carriage house is clearly attached to the right side of the property. This would appear instead to be after Alfred, Martha, Eugenie, and Augusta Marie returned from living in England and renovated the house; ergo, ca. 1885.Collection
