A B/W photographic view of a house which was moved by Deacon Bailey. Built before 1763. Located near Bailey Island cemetery. This house was built on Clapboard Island near Falmouth. When Deacon Timothy Bailey's oldest daughter, Sarah, married Thomas Merryman in 1763, the house was moved on a scow the 12 miles between Clapboard and Bailey Islands and thence up the incline to its present location.
