Color photograph of home of Raymond and Francis Bibber, Rte. 123, Harpswell Center, ME. Cape-style home showing part of one front window, door, two more front windows; gable end. Paint peeling, some panes of glass and shutter slats missing. Brick foundation, clapboard siding. Raymond lived mostly in the ell, not pictured. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Pacific, North Africa, and European theaters. He suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. Donor notes that Raymond was sometimes called “Strawberry.” They were the sons of Harry S. Bibber and Sophia Stover Bibber. Raymond Linwood Bibber was born in 1920 and died in 2003. Francis was born in 1906 and died in 1997. Photo taken 11/2006.
