Description
A single snow storm (February 18-19) known as the Blizzard of 1952 dropped 25.4 inches, which is one quarter of the total snow fall for that season. Creating snow drifts between six and eight feet high in Brunswick. Roads would close up as fast as they were opened, crippling traffic and just about all other activity except shoveling for several days.
