Description

One of NAS Brunswick's maintenance crew stands by to explain to Armed Forces Day visitors what makes a helicopter fly. Shown is a Piasechi HUP-2 used primarily for search and rescue. It can carry a pilot, co-pilot, and three passengers and is equipped with a hoist which will lift several hundred pounds from the water or the surface of the earth.
